Playing in the afternoon? Drink more than you think you need.

Johor heat plus an indoor hall means afternoon sessions run warm. Mornings and evenings are noticeably cooler — but whenever you play, keep fluids up. Isotonic drinks, coconut water, electrolyte sachets and cold bottled water are all at the hydration station.

Spritzer ION — hydrate, recharge, rise above

Made with carbonated natural mineral water, Spritzer ION is formulated to quickly replace fluids and essential electrolytes lost through sweat — which, on a Johor afternoon, is quite a lot.

  • Natural mineral water base — pure hydration with sparkling refreshment
  • Rapid electrolyte recovery — restores minerals lost through sweat
  • Lower sugar — 4.0g per 100ml
  • On-the-go size — easy to stash in your paddle bag

Spritzer ION sponsors ATP Club events. Grab one chilled at the hydration station, courtside.

Questions people ask

Do I need a membership to play pickleball at ATP Club?

No. Anyone can book a court — membership is optional and only adds discounts and perks. Book online through Courtsite, or walk in and we’ll put you on a court if one is free.

How much does it cost to book a pickleball court in Johor Bahru?

At ATP Club: Premium Courts RM40/hour off-peak and RM60 peak, Tournament Courts RM50 and RM70, Apex Show Court RM60 and RM80. Weekend Happy Hour drops Premium Courts to RM28/hour between 8–11am and 3–6pm.

How far is ATP Club from the Singapore checkpoint?

About 25 minutes by car from the Woodlands Causeway (JB CIQ) and roughly 30 minutes from Tuas Second Link, traffic permitting. We’re in Masai on the eastern side of JB, with free parking on site.

Are the courts air-conditioned?

No — the courts are not air-conditioned. They’re fully indoors with high ceilings and industrial fans that keep air moving, which is the standard setup for indoor pickleball venues in JB. Being indoors means no rain cancellations and no sun to play through.

Straight talk: afternoon sessions do get hot and stuffy — that’s Johor weather in an indoor hall. Mornings and evenings play much cooler, which is partly why Weekend Happy Hour sits at 8–11am and 3–6pm. If you’re playing through the heat of the day, bring a towel, pace yourself, and drink more than you think you need. Our hydration station stocks isotonic drinks, coconut water, electrolyte sachets and cold bottled water.

Can I rent a paddle if I don’t have one?

Yes — paddle rental is available at the pro shop and balls are provided. If you’re thinking of buying, you can demo paddles on court before choosing.

How late are the courts open?

Daily from 8am to 1am, weekends and public holidays included — one of the latest closing times among JB pickleball venues.

Can beginners play here?

Yes. Several of the clubs that run sessions here are beginner-friendly, and our coaching team runs private and group lessons from RM150/hour with the court fee included.
