Coaching FAQ

How much does a pickleball lesson cost in Johor Bahru?

At ATP Club, private lessons start from RM150 per hour for one person with a Coach, RM180 with a Senior Coach, and RM250 with the Head Coach. Group lessons for 4–6 people start from RM240 per hour. Court fee is included in all rates.

Do I need my own paddle for a lesson?

No. Loaner paddles are provided for beginners, and balls are supplied for every session. Court shoes with non-marking soles are recommended — our pro shop stocks paddles, shoes and gear if you decide to get your own.

What is the minimum booking for a coaching session?

Private lessons have a minimum of 1.5 hours. Group lessons have a minimum of 2 hours.

Are the coaches certified?

Several of our coaches hold formal certifications — PPR (Professional Pickleball Registry), APBA and RacketPro (RPO) — and their certifications are listed on their individual profiles above. Every coach on the team is an active tournament player with competitive results on the Malaysian circuit, which is what shapes how they teach.

Do you teach complete beginners?

Yes. Several coaches specialise in beginner fundamentals — grip, serve, dinking and court positioning. You’ll be rallying within the first session.

B1, Jalan Teras Utama, Taman Perindustrian Kota Puteri, 81750 Masai, Johor — about 20 minutes from Johor Bahru city centre and a straightforward drive from the Singapore checkpoints. Free parking on site.
